Smart living design

• This smart home system integrates operation of electrically-adjusted curtains, air-conditioning, smart appliances and an IP camera such that the homeowners can control them via a mobile app, whether at home or while on the move outside.
• An unwelcome characteristic of top-floor apartments is they usually heat up fast after the sun rises. The designer therefore fitted smart and electrically-adjusted curtains, so they could be easily drawn to minimize room temperature, while ensuring privacy.

Interior design

• An existing glass wall throughout this rooftop unit with balcony was retained and enhanced as a special feature. The homeowners were therefore able to enjoy a natural ambience, plus a soothing view of artificial turf and a panoramic 180° overlook of the city landscape.
• A sense of warmth and harmony were achieved in this contemporary and stylish living space by thoughtful use of white and gray color tones matched with wooden flooring and a log-based dining suite.
